As a photographer, I take documenting events seriously. I first started my photography journey as a staff member, and eventual co-editor, of the Impressions yearbook at Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Worth. Since then, I have enjoyed learning more about photography techniques outside of a classroom. I also spent a short time freelancing for the Impressions Yearbook post-graduation and have volunteered as a photographer for various organizations at the University of North Texas.
I decided to create Devon Skinner Photography because I wanted others to not only see, but experience, the world as I see it through my images. In the fast-paced world we live in, it's important to take time to appreciate the beauty around us, the beauty that invokes feelings of nostalgia, joy, and so many other emotions that create the tapestry of life. There's nothing like feeling the shutter click in your hands and realizing that you captured the twinkle of an eye or the serenity of a dragonfly sitting on a rock. Photography is a passion of mine, and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I do!
